CityU Commencement (5:02)
City University of Seattle hosted its 2008 commencement ceremony at Key Arena on Saturday, June 14. I was hired to produce a promo video for them documenting the event.
XCX Race (2:52)
The fourth annual XCX (for Cross Country Extreme) race was hosted by Off Track Events in the fields and wooded areas directly behind the Midway Expo Center in Columbia, Mo., as a fundraiser for Columbia Second Chance. It drew hundreds of participants from around the region who were encouraged to dress in costume for the non-timed race through four miles of forest, field, and obstacles. Prizes were awarded for placement in the race and costume categories.
Veterans Day Celebration (1:33)
University of Missouri-Columbia ROTC sponsored the 22nd annual Veterans Day Ceremony Sunday morning. The parade began promptly at 10:45 a.m. and stretched from the MU Columns to the Boone County Courthouse, where a memorial ceremony was held in observance of the holiday.
Missouri Photo Workshop (6:46)
The Missouri Photo Workshop is one of the most renowned photo workshops in the world, drawing photographers from every corner of the globe. Shooters have an opportunity to be coached through a week of story hunting, shooting, and editing by some of the best minds in the business, including the photo director of TIME and the executive editor of National Geographic. This is a compilation of a week’s worth of shooting, editing, shooting again, audio gathering, more editing, and then the final end-of-show presentation.
Roots ‘n Blues ‘n Barbecue (3:49)
The Roots, Blues, and Barbecue festival, organized by Boone County National Bank in observance of its 150th year of business, drew 54 barbecuing teams from around the Midwest to compete for money and prestige. Each team was required to submit an entry for each of six barbecue categories, which were then scrutinized by a gallery of judges. This film examines the two-day competition through the eyes of three competitors.
Rainbow Gathering (2:58)
Over 10,000 people gathered in Big Piney Ranger District of Arkansas’ Ozark National Forest for the Rainbow Family National Gathering in June, 2007.
